Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U.) provides services to assist youth in gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to transition to adulthood, and to pursue education and career-path options that prepare them for competitive workplace opportunities.
Services may encompass tutoring, study-skills training, and instruction leading to high-school completion or GED attainment, as well as supportive dropout recovery and prevention strategies, school-reconnection activities, and transition activities for pursuing post-secondary education. Y.O.U. also assists youth with workforce preparation, paid-work experiences with academic and/or occupational education components, and training opportunities for specific occupations.
