The Kalamazoo County Early Childhood Registered Apprenticeship is the first nationally registered multiple employer and countywide early childhood apprenticeship program in the state of Michigan.
Participants have the opportunity to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) through classroom and work-based learning with employability skills training and a personal mentorship will getting paid. Once completed, apprenticeship certifications will follow you anywhere in the U.S.
Enter the program 3 ways:
- School-to-Registered Apprenticeship – Enter through Education for Employment’s Teacher Academy course upon successful completion
- Pre-Apprenticeship – Enter through Youth Opportunities Unlimited
- Direct Entry into Apprenticeship – 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED, contact Child Care Resources
