The instructional activities of the Young Adult Program are dedicated to advancing and enhancing independent living and community navigation skills for all students. Based on student needs, interests and transition goals, students and families are encouraged to identify ways to maximize independence and become greater contributors at home and in the community. Students will have access and opportunities to explore and utilize various community resources, stores and businesses so that they can gain the hands-on experience to navigate an independent lifestyle.
