Kalamazoo RESA (KRESA) hosted its annual Transition Fair at West Campus on Thursday, Oct. 27. The 8th annual event was designed to connect students with disabilities to services that can help them achieve success once their formal education is complete. Students, families and school staff from across Kalamazoo County were invited to explore booths to gather information on employment, post-secondary education, adult living, community participation and more.

“The Transition Fair is a great opportunity for students with disabilities and their families to learn more about how they can prepare for life after school,” said Transition Coordinator Jordan Stripling. “Making that transition can be a little overwhelming sometimes. We hope this event helps students, families and school staff members prepare for the specific challenges they face during this exciting time.”

More than 70 people attended the event.
