Foundation Names Nine Grant Winners
The Kalamazoo RESA Foundation recently awarded nine employees with funds to help them continue their education. The awards are part of the Targeted Assistance Grant (TAG) program created in 2016 to support KRESA employees who want to become early childhood and special education teachers.
“We have many employees already working in our programs who would make excellent teachers. The TAG program helps them complete their teaching degree,” said Kalamazoo RESA Foundation president and superintendent Dave Campbell.
Nine employees were awarded a combined $20,000 toward their educational expenses.
