Kalamazoo RESA is Now Hiring for Multiple Positions at its Future Career Connect Campus
Slated to open to students in the Fall of 2025, Kalamazoo RESA’s Career Connect Campus will be home to a world-class Career & Technical Education (CTE) center serving Kalamazoo County. The campus is currently under construction and will be located at 3500 Vanrick Drive next to Wings Event Center. This vision, which has been over seven years in the making, is coming to fruition thanks to the generosity of the local community and multiple business and industry partners.
“This is an exciting time in Kalamazoo County as the Career Connect Campus prepares to open to students in August 2025,” said Career Connect Campus Principal Bobbi Jo Stoner. “To ensure we produce high school graduates ready to impact the community workforce, it is critical for us to find talented professionals from the business world to join us in this adventure. Their expertise and real-world experience are essential in providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their future careers.”
In preparation for the campus opening, Kalamazoo RESA is currently hiring multiple positions, including Career & Technical Education instructors and teaching assistants. Prior teaching/training experience is welcomed but not essential. This could be the perfect opportunity for someone looking to start a new career while helping young people discover theirs.
"We are eager to connect with candidates from industry who are interested in transitioning into teaching,” said Sarah Mansberger, Executive Director of Career Connect Secondary Programs. “We have supports in place to help folks from industry make a successful transition into the classroom."
