Early/Middle College Program Completion Ceremony Celebrates 7th Cohort
On May 9, 2024, Kalamazoo RESA (KRESA)’s Career Connect program celebrated fifty-three Early/Middle College (EMC) program completers at the Kalamazoo Valley Community College Dale B. Lake Auditorium. This was the seventh cohort of the EMC program in Kalamazoo County.
Twenty-eight of the students earned an associate degree, with twelve graduating with honors (3.5 or higher cumulative GPA). One student earned a certificate with honors. Thirty-two students completed their Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA). Forty-six students completed their Michigan Early Middle College Associate (MEMCA) Certificate. The 2023-24 fifth year cohort earned a total of 3,059 college credits.
