On November 3rd, Kalamazoo RESA will be sponsoring our 4th Annual Educating Outside the Box Symposium for educators and community agencies in the Greater Kalamazoo Area. Our mission is to enhance the sense of efficacy and self-confidence among our young people by providing relevant learning and supports for those who educate and interact with them on a daily basis.

The EL Consortium of Southwest Michigan has Regional Network Meetings for the educators and administrators of Calhoun, Kalamazoo, St. Joe, Barry & Branch Counties supporting multilingual learners (English learners). These meetings are open to members and non-members of the Consortium to support the planning and supports for English learners within our schools and districts.

This series will provide districts with opportunities to plan, implement, and evaluate Math Recovery course content into building and district services. Teachers and leaders will review Math Recovery course content and work toward implementation of the Guiding Principles of Math Recovery instruction.
Multilingual Learner Systems Support Series View offerings/not available icon
This series supports administrators and EL coordinators/directors with implementing best practices for multilingual learners and developing equitable systems within their district. Based on common challenges and problems of practice, this series is an informal and collaborative session focused on shared learning and supported work time. Participants are encouraged to drop in for support as needed.
