Building a Strong Foundation for Reading Instruction (Grades K-3) view course/not available icon
The purpose of this workshop is for educators to deepen their understanding of the critical foundational reading skills. Educators will learn effective instructional routines and strategies to teach these critical skills, and how to differentiate the implementation of these routines within whole group and small group instruction. Data will be utilized to help identify individual student and core instructional needs.
How to Get Kids to Write About What They Have Read (Grades K-1) 17/18-307 view course/not available icon
The purpose of this interactive workshop is for educators to implement instructional routines and strategies aligned with Essential Instructional Practices to successfully impact student writing achievement within the foundational writing skills. Teachers will be actively engaged in lesson planning using the writing process to get students to write about what they have read.
