Special Education
The Special Education Center of Excellence ensures that individuals with disabilities from birth through age 26 receive the services they need to learn, grow, and thrive. In partnership with all nine local school districts, we provide a full continuum of specialized programs and supports, so that every student, regardless of ability, has access to a public education close to home.
Our approach is inclusive, collaborative, and empowering: we work side-by-side with families, educators, and community agencies to meet each student’s unique needs. Whether through center-based classrooms, therapies, or consultative services, our mission is to help every student achieve their personal best and successfully transition to adult life.
