Students to Explore In-Demand Jobs at Third Annual MiCareerQuest Southwest
Eighth-grade students from across Kalamazoo County will travel to the third annual MiCareerQuest Southwest event on Wednesday-Thursday Nov. 1-2, at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center.
Students will explore in-demand jobs at the hands-on, experiential career exploration event.
During the two-day career and college readiness event, students will interact with professionals and test-drive current in-demand careers from four industry areas: Arts & Communications; Business, Technology & Human Services; Engineering & Manufacturing; and Health & Natural Sciences.
New this year is the Community Open House and Job Fair, on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 4-7 p.m., which is both free and open to the public.
