The reviews are in: “I feel like a real dancer!” “You get to basically pick what character you want to be.” “I liked it because I could pick what it looked like, and nobody would have to tell me, ‘Do it this way!’ or ‘Do it that way!’” Those are quotes from children featured in this new video highlighting a very special offering of Kalamazoo RESA’s Education for the Arts program. PACE (Professional Artists and Cooperating Educators) reaches 2,400 students each year in Kalamazoo County, providing elementary and middle schools free dance and theater residencies with professional teaching artists, who guide kids and teachers through the creative process. Watch as the artists, educators and students show what’s so awesome about PACE. You’ll give it two thumbs up!
