Kalamazoo RESA Honored as Best and Brightest in Wellness
Kalamazoo RESA was named one of Michigan’s Best and Brightest in Wellness for the third year in a row.
The honor is bestowed upon companies and non-profits that are making their workplaces, their employees and the community a healthier place to live and work. The WellStride team, the Kalamazoo RESA health and wellness committee, will be recognized at the annual Best and Brightest In Wellness gala in Dearborn during the month of October.
“Health and wellness should be viewed as an investment in a business’ most important asset, its employees and these outstanding employers, faith based groups, schools and wellness providers are setting the bar,” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO of the Best and Brightest Programs.
WellStride is comprised of 15 employees from every Kalamazoo RESA site. The team works together to offer wellness challenges, educational opportunities and promotes and encourages employees to participate in community events.
“Receiving this award is so encouraging. It shows that we are on the right track with our initiatives as a wellness team. We are excited about this state-wide recognition and it will motivate us to continue to build on what we’ve started!” said Emily Betros, Kalamazoo RESA wellness coordinator.
Congratulations, Kalamazoo RESA WellStride on this impressive distiction. Thank you for the important work that you do to keep our employees happy, healthy and whole.
