KRESA CTE Design Student Wins Grand Prize at Detroit Auto Show Poster Contest
KALAMAZOO, Mich. ─ Dylan Duguay, a Kalamazoo RESA Career & Technical Education (CTE) Design student and senior at Loy Norrix High School, has been awarded the Grand Prize in the Detroit Auto Show High School Poster Contest.
Dylan’s design was chosen from entries across the state, earning him a $2,500 prize. He spent a week working on the project, trusting his creative vision for one of the world’s largest auto shows.
“I was so excited,” Dylan said. “It’s still so surreal.”
Dylan accepted his award on Saturday, January 18, during a ceremony at the Detroit Auto Show. He plans to use the prize money to continue his education in the fall at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where he will study Communication Design & Strategy.
