The Operational Supports Center of Excellence provides the backbone services that keep our education system running smoothly.
We centralize key operational and administrative functions so that local districts and educators focus on students. Our approach is collaborative and customer service-oriented: we work with district leaders, staff, and community partners to ensure they have the tools, training, and assistance needed for efficient school operations.
Operational Supports' programs:
Centralized business office supporting KRESA programs and local districts.
Comprehensive HR support, from hiring and fingerprinting to employee relations.
End-to-end technology support for KRESA and area school districts, including IT helpdesk, networking, and technical solutions.
Assists you with all of your graphic design and printing needs at a low-cost.
Management of safe school facilities, specialized transportation services, and regional training for school transportation staff.
Public relations, communications services, and community partnership efforts that share our schools’ stories and engage stakeholders.

The Early/Middle College (EMC) club had its first-ever meeting at Kalamazoo Valley Community College!
Made up of students in EMC programs through Kalamazoo RESA, Gull Lake Community Schools, and Van Buren Technology Center, the club allows students to collaborate monthly and build a community that understands the unique journey of earning a degree while still in high school.

Congratulations to our talented Career and Technical Education (CTE) Veterinary Science students for their outstanding performance at the Michigan Future Farmers of America (FFA) State Convention at Michigan State University! Four of our seniors represented Kalamazoo RESA Career Connect with impressive semester-long research projects, earning them an invitation to compete at the state level.
