Competitive Drone Flying
A competitive team sport for students who love to build, code, and fly.
Grades 7–12 · Teams of 3–5 · No experience needed
The Fall 2026 Sessions give students a way into competitive team sports through skill, strategy, and creativity — no tryouts, no athletic requirements, and it fits alongside anything else they're involved in. Teams learn hands-on coding, drone operations, and competition strategy on the CoDrone EDU platform.
Learn together, fly together
- Students come together to learn how to fly and program drones — as a team, at their own pace.
- Explore where these skills lead: aviation, engineering, coding, and other growing career paths.
- Mentors get support in guiding teams through practice and competition.
Eligibility

- Reside in a REMC 12W consortium district (others welcome, but no funding from 12W)
- Establish a team of 3 to 5 students (MS/HS)
- Obtain at least 1 mentor
