Kalamazoo RESA’s Early Childhood Center of Excellence is dedicated to supporting children from birth to age five and their families, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
We partner with families and community agencies to ensure every child is safe, healthy, and ready for school. Our programs are inclusive and equitable, offering comprehensive early learning, developmental support, and family services at low or no cost.

KRESA is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 Targeted Assistance Grants (TAG). This initiative is designed to support a diverse group of talented, non-certified staff members who have shown both the potential and the aspiration to grow their careers in education.

If your child turns three or four years old on or before Dec. 1, 2025, they may receive high-quality pre-kindergarten education at low or no cost this fall.

On November 1, Kalamazoo RESA Great Start Collaborative held a Talking is Teaching Community Barbershop Event in partnership with The Fatherhood Network and Kalamazoo Public Library.
