Back-to-School Information

Aviation is on the second floor of the Flight Discovery Center of the Air Zoo. The parking lot for the Flight Discovery Center is located past the main Air Zoo building at the end of Milham Road on the left. The address is 3101 E Milham Ave, Portage, MI 49002.

Morning students will enter the class using the blue stairs on the outside of the building. Afternoon students will enter the building through the main entrance and proceed up to the second floor from there.

• First day of class is Thursday, September 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:55 p.m. in classroom 1290, located in the dental hygiene clinic area.
• Please park in the main large parking lot at TTC outside the sign labeled Dental Hygiene Clinic. If the door is locked, go in the main entrance; the help desk can point you in the direction of the clinic.

• Scrubs will be distributed on the first day of class.

• EMT student/parent orientation is on September 1 at the Culinary Allied Health Building, 418 E. Walnut, Kalamazoo, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in room 223. Students are required to attend, as noted in your acceptance letter. During orientation, you will be reviewing the syllabus, receiving parking tags, and all other expectations for the program.
• The first day of class is September 9 at 1 p.m., in classroom #305 on the third floor of the Culinary and Allied Health Building, located at 418 E. Walnut, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.

• Instructor Moriya Hurst will be sending students an email, as there are required items to do before attending class on the first day. 

First day of class is Wednesday, September 9, from 8:15 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. in classroom #220

The course will begin as scheduled on September 1. Students will meet at Career Connect Campus on September 1-3 before transitioning to KVCC on September 8, as originally planned.

We are so excited for you all to start Conservation Biology on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Our class is located at Heronwood Field Station (6378 Hart Dr, Kalamazoo). 

If you are a student who will be driving yourself, please make sure you drive slowly down the driveway to get to our building. We have lots of wildlife that live out here, and we want to be mindful of any animals that may be crossing the driveway! You can park your vehicle in front of the solar array pictured below:
