In an effort to continue to offer consortium pricing on a Parent Notification/Alert system for MiCase member districts, we released an RFP in the summer of 2012 and six vendor products were researched and compared. The study committee (comprised of individuals from MiCase and area school districts) selected two products for use by our member districts. The committee found that School Messenger offers the most comprehensive feature set, and that Bright Arrow has solid features and the best price. Both systems are available to MiCase member districts. Additionally, we continue to offer Honeywell so that their current customer districts can continue using their notification system.
