How do we plan and implement RtI?

>> About Math RtI | Recommendations | Resources

Planning for and implementing RtI requires a systematic approach. There are 3 main stages to RtI planning and implementation:

Consensus building :: Infrastructure development :: Implementation

Each stage has well-defined tasks for RtI leadership teams to complete as you plan for implementation. Each of these tasks should be completed before moving on to the next stage.

The National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE) has developed blueprints for district and school teams to use as you plan and develop each stage. Each blueprint contains tasks, resources, and action item tools to help teams efficiently and effectively complete each stage.

To identify and track the progress of action items, use the Action Planning Template all throughout your Consensus building, Infrastructure development, and Implementation.
